Croatia Villas

Croatia has long been a popular travel destination among Western Europeans, but the country is now experiencing a surge in popularity among travelers from all across the globe. Croatia has hundreds of miles of coastline along the gorgeous Adriatic Sea and it is this area that is most popular among visitors. The Dalmatian Coast stretches from the town of Split, located in the center of the country, to Dubrovnik in the far south. These two historic towns are the most popular travel spots along the coast; both offer breathtaking views of the Adriatic as well as several historical and popular attractions. Old Town Dubrovnik still looks like it did in the 13th century. Travelers feel as if they have been transported back in time as they wander the streets of this gorgeous town. The preeminent attraction in Split is the spectacular palace of Diocletian. Built in 295 AD for the Roman emperor Diocletian, this palace is wonderfully preserved and visitors can easily take a full day to marvel at this magnificent Roman architectural structure. The peninsula of Istria, in the north east part of Croatia, is also tremendously popular among travelers. Towns on the peninsula are consistently ranked as the top resort destinations in all of Croatia. The most popular of these tourist towns is Porec; featuring an old town that is over 2,000 years old. A section of the ‘old town’ and the marvelous Euphrasian Basillica, which dates to the 6th century, are two of the biggest attractions in Istria. Regardless of where your travels in Croatia take you, there is no better way to enjoy this gorgeous country than in the comfort of a luxurious Croatian villa.
